Well I just got a PNY Verto NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 512mb and a ViewSonic 22 inch VX2240 and my graphic problems are worse. Everything is jumpy and delayed during movement even if I put all the settings to low even though detecting optimal settings puts all my defaults to High. I have tried just about every resolution and windowed setting combination to no avail. No help from DDO Tech Support, PNY or Nvidia.
Anyone have the same card and settings that work well. Sorry to sound like an idiot but right now I am with this.
I am running an HP a1220n Pentium 4 2.93Ghz with 1.29 GB of RAM Any comments welcome even if they contain some insults. 1.29 GB of RAM. How did you manage to get this amount? From the little info you have in your post, makes it sound like memory issue or pagefile issue.
You need to post a DXdiag, directions are at the top of the Tech forums. And if you have Vista, post a system information file Start>and at the search promt type 'system information' and a window should open and do a quick check and should see a save button save it to the desktop and then post as you would the DXdiag. XP should be similiar, but may not automantic start system info. That info would be useful to see if there are any other conflict other then whats in a Dxdiag. I'm running XP and did the dxdiag and here is the outcome. Guess I'll post tech forums. Thank you so much for responding.

Have you looked into maybe it could be your internet connection. Your orignal post you said that you were still having the same problem, even after getting a new videocard and LCD.
Not sure what you mean by jumpy, but the Delay you see sounds like a high Latency to the severs. Start>Run and Type 'CMD' In the command window Type 'Tracert GLS.DDO.Com' It will then proced to do a connection test(tracert) If you see * on step 1 or after step2 then you could have a internet problem. If the *(3 of them) are on step 2 then its OK.
If you see really high number or it times out then you have a internet problem. You best bet would be to call your ISP and tell them you are having a connection problem, dont mention its a Game, they will just blame that, lol They can run some test and maybe find a something that can be fixed You can also go to and navigate to the testing section and run some of there test on your connection, some of those last for a 24 hour period and can tell if your connection has any problems.
